What We Do
Renovation of age old temples and performance of Kumbabishegams wherever required. We identify and restore dilapidated temples across Tamil Nadu. Our volunteers work to ensure every temple regains its original glory.
Looking after and ensuring the revival of poojas and helping in their continuity. We work with temple priests and local communities to restore daily rituals and festivals. Many forgotten temples now conduct regular poojas through our support.
Protecting temples with doors, iron gates, electrical connections and proper lighting. We safeguard temples from encroachment and vandalism across Tamil Nadu. Our security initiatives have protected hundreds of temples throughout the state.
Helping economically backward sections of society without partiality of caste and creed. We provide support for education, healthcare and livelihood to those in need. Our welfare programmes reach thousands of families across Tamil Nadu every year.
Who We Are
Tamilnadu Hindu Temples Federation is an amalgamation of temples of varied Hindu denominations and other organizations in Tamilnadu. It serves as a platform to bring into the glare of publicity our great community and celebrate its achievements in the areas of religion, arts, culture and heritage.
The State Committee consists of 10 members. Trustworthy and responsible persons are appointed by the State Committee.
Who We AreAbout the Federation
Tamilnadu Hindu Temples Federation (THTF) was established in 2013 after a decade of dedicated groundwork across Tamil Nadu. Our founders spent ten years documenting temples, understanding the challenges faced by Hindu communities, and building a strong foundation before formally registering the federation.
Today, THTF stands as one of the largest voluntary Hindu organisations in India. We are active across all 38 districts of Tamil Nadu, uniting temples of all Hindu denominations, religious bodies, cultural organisations and individual devotees under one platform.
Through our collective efforts in temple renovation, pooja revival, legal support, security measures and social welfare, THTF has touched thousands of lives. Every Tamil Hindu is welcome to join this movement and help protect our sacred temples and timeless traditions.
